President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed the Office of the Special Prosecutor and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to, with immediate effect, investigatethe allegations of conflict of interest againstthe Chief Executive Officerof the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenim Boateng Adjei.
The call for investigation followed the airing of a Manasseh documentary ‘Contracts for Sale’ on August 21, 2019 which indicted the PPA boss who has been suspended by the President.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, said “the President would be grateful for expeditious action in this matter. Please accept the President’s best wishes.”
