Pupils of Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region, who could not recite the alphabets two years ago can now read.
This was made possible through the intervention of Asanko Gold, a Canadian mining company and the Canadian Organisation for Development through Education, CODE.
Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability of Asanko Gold Ghana, Fredrick Attakumah made this known at a forum in Accra to solicit inputs on how to increase women participation in the extractive industry.
