Radford University College has launched its Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme in partnership with Écoles Supérieures de Gestion (ESG), a leading French business school, that specialises in commerce and marketing and is part of the Galileo Global Education Group to develop and elevate executive education in Ghana and expand opportunities for global academic collaboration.

The programme, which begins in September with a limited intake of 30 participants, is designed for senior professionals and business executives. It features a hybrid format, combining virtual instruction with in-person immersion sessions in Paris, offering students access to global perspectives while addressing local business challenges.

The DBA programme is part of Radford’s strategic vision to align all academic programmes with reputable global institutions.

According to the President of Radford University College the university, Dr. Martin Lither Obeng currently maintains strong academic ties in Europe, especially with institutions in Bulgaria, including Bogus University and Sophia Medical University.

“We’re building partnerships with major players across Europe,” added Dr. Martin Lither Obeng. “Our vision is to connect every programme we offer to a reputable institution abroad, providing our students with both academic excellence and industrial exposure.”

The Chairman of the Galileo Global Education Group Prof. Josse Henri Frederic noted that for ESG, the collaboration with Radford is a gateway into Anglophone Africa and a foundation for future growth across the continent.

The institution plans to expand into countries like Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa, using Radford’s model as a blueprint.

“Our partnership with Radford is a springboard for wider cooperation across Africa. But we are very mindful of each country’s regulatory and educational frameworks, and we aim to be present where we are not and keep on expanding to build long-term, sustainable collaborations” he added.

The DBA curriculum includes research in fields such as finance, strategy, marketing, communication, HR, and operations research. Participants will be encouraged to design studies that reflect Ghana’s fast-growing economy and infrastructure development, with the aim of producing innovative, practical solutions.

This programme is not just about earning a degree,”Dr.Obeng noted that “It’s about building relationships, sharing ideas across cultures, and developing the kind of social capital that fuels innovation and leadership.”

With its strong global partnerships and locally anchored curriculum, Radford University College’s Executive DBA programme is poised to redefine executive education in Ghana and help develop a new generation of transformative business leaders.
