Former President, Jerry John Rawlings, has called for thorough investigations into the killing of an elderly woman in the Savannah Region.
The 90-year-old woman Akua Denteh, was beaten to death by residents of Kafabaafter being accused of Witchcraft.
A statement posted on his Facebook page asked the Police and other investigative agencies, as well as the Attorney-General’s Department, to ensure that the matter is thoroughly investigated and appropriate charges and prosecution brought against the perpetrators to serve as a deterrent.
