NPP’s National Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, is receiving emergency medical care at the Accident and Emergency Center, commonly referred to as the ‘Kufuor Emergency’ at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.

GBC’s most reliable source at the Hospital confirmed the admission of Mr. Ahiagbah for treatment Saturday July 28, 2024 following a near fatal accident at Duamponpo near Konongo-Odumasu on the Kumasi-Accra highway involving the vehicle on which he was traveling.

He was then rushed to KATH for emergency care.

As at 7.30 Saturday night, Mr. Ahiagbah’s condition had stabilized, according to GBC’s source and was responding well to treatment while on admission under medical supervision.
