Ghanaian hip-hop rapper and songwriter, Lyrical Joe has spoken out about the impact of endorsements on his career, particularly highlighting the support he’s received from fellow artist Sarkodie.
Speaking at the launch of his album “I AM” at Twist Night Club, Lyrical Joe emphasized the value of Sarkodie’s endorsement, saying, “…being endorsed by Sarkodie, he’s done it for me over and over again, posted me over and over again, and it’s fine if another brother gets the shine when he’s endorsed.”
Lyrical Joe also reflected on his past achievements, despite these accomplishments, he remains focused on future success, stating , “I’ve been endorsed, I’ve been there before, I’ve won that award before, I’ve held it. Best rap performance, VGMA, best rap performance, 3Music, I’ve won that.”
When asked about his plans to win the next TGMA award, Lyrical Joe expressed his determination, saying, “To be more heavy this year, and I’m already doing it. And I’m already doing it. I mean, the film, I guess, this year is already loaded. I have more stuff as well, and I don’t plan to get proud because I don’t win an award. No, I’m going to step up more next year and keep going.”
Lyrical Joe’s commitment to his craft was evident in his statement, “Killing these mosquitoes every day, and I will not quit.” With his album “I AM” now out, fans can expect more exciting music from this talented artist.
