Ghanaians working on the railway crossing between Senchi and Old Akrade in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region, have been asked to go home.

The temporary suspension follows an order by the Indian Contractor Mr. Senil who attributes it to the Corononavirus outbreak.

In all, eighteen pillars are expected to be fabricated and positioned at crossing level of the Volta River by the railway line construction workers.
