St Joseph School at Amasaman has booked a slot to represent the Greater Accra Region at the national Brain Battle Quiz, BBQ, among Catholic schools across the country.
The school garnered 41 points to beat close contender St. Theresa’s School to emerge victorious.
The competition was organised by the National Catholic Secretariat Education Directorate to whip up interest among Junior High School students in the study of Science and Maths.
Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Father John Bonaventure Kwofie noted that Science and Mathematics have become critical areas to the socio-economic development of the country hence the need to build up students in that area.
