Star Oil, Ghana’s leading distributor of petroleum products, says it paid over GHS 2.63 billion in taxes and statutory levies in 2025, reaffirming its commitment to national development while continuing to provide quality fuel at affordable prices across the country.
The company said the payments support critical public services and national development efforts, alongside job creation and business growth. Star Oil also reported that it ended 2025 with 254 filling stations nationwide, employing 2,714 direct staff, and recording a 14% retail market share.

According to the company, its 2025 performance reflects a focus on sustainable growth built around three key pillars: fair pricing for customers, strong business performance, and meaningful contributions to Ghana’s development.
Star Oil reaffirmed its commitment to serving customers nationwide with quality, affordable fuels, while continuing to honour its statutory obligations.
