Thomas Narteh Partey: ‘Family threatens to dump corpse at Police Station if…’

The family of 23 year old Thomas Narteh Partey, who was shot dead by the Police in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has threatened to dump the body at the Police station by Friday noon if the Police fail to provide them with a report and update on investigations.

Thomas Narteh Partey, was shot dead when the youth in the area held a demonstration to resist exorbitant electricity bills imposed on them.

Family of the late Thomas Partey, said they have written to the District Police Command and the IGP on separate occasions to request for a report, but to no avail.

Father of the deceased Winfred Partey told GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey, that the family needs the Police report to enable them to register with the Births and Deaths, and obtain a burial permit to lay their son to rest.
