Uniiq FM’s “Woman to Woman” program and GTV’s Women’s Voice have been honoured for championing the cause of women and for years of dedicated service to empower Ghanaian women.
The recognition which came from the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection was also to encourage producers of the programme to create more space for women and girls to discuss issues that hinder their development.
Over the years, “Woman to Woman” and Women’s Voice have served as platforms for women to have discussions on things that affect their careers, sexuality and lives.
The recognition was given at the Accra Digital Centre as Ghana joined the world to Mark International Women’s Day.
