President Akufo-Addo says the new Public universities bill will not undermine the academic freedom of public universities as being speculated.
He said the bill, if passed into law will make the administration of public universities less cumbersome and efficient.
Speaking in Accra at the 11th congregation of the UPSA, President Akufo0Addo noted that consultations on the new bill has been completed and will be laid before parliament this year.
