Ghanaian international, Antoine Semenyo has once again been nominated for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award, marking his second nomination this season.
The AFC Bournemouth forward earned the nod for his exceptional solo effort against Fulham in October, standing out among some of the league’s top attacking talents.
In the thrilling 3-1 comeback victory over Fulham, Semenyo not only scored twice but mesmerized fans and pundits alike with his first goal.
The 25-year-old showcased remarkable skill by taking on two defenders before deftly curling the ball past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno, a goal that quickly caught the attention of Premier League voters.
Semenyo faces stiff competition in the award race from high-profile players including Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, his Bournemouth teammate Justin Kluivert, and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo.
Additional contenders include Loum Tchauona and Zian Flemming of Burnley, Newcastle’s Nick Woltemade, and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Buendia, making for a diverse and competitive field.
This is not Semenyo’s first recognition for spectacular goals this season, having also been nominated in September for his stunning strike against Liverpool on the opening night of the Premier League campaign.
His consistent performances have highlighted his growing importance to Bournemouth’s attacking line.
With six goals and three assists in just nine Premier League appearances this season, Antoine Semenyo continues to impress and strengthen his reputation as one of the league’s most exciting forwards.
