Chelsea are actively exploring the possibility of signing Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United as they look to bolster their attack for the upcoming season.

The 24-year-old attacker, who has excelled over the last two Premier League campaigns, has been offered to the Blues during initial discussions between the two clubs. Though no final decision has been made, Chelsea are weighing the option of adding Kudus to their squad.

In parallel, West Ham have shown interest in Chelsea’s goalkeeper Robert Sánchez, raising the idea of including the Spanish international in negotiations. Sánchez previously worked with Hammers manager Graham Potter at Brighton.

Chelsea may consider letting Sánchez leave if they can secure a new first-choice goalkeeper in time for their Club World Cup trip to the United States. The Blues are targeting AC Milan’s Mike Maignan as their preferred candidate. Maignan, who has informed Milan of his wish to join Chelsea, has refused to renew his contract with the Italian club, which expires next summer.

With Milan potentially at risk of losing their star goalkeeper on a free transfer, Chelsea are expected to intensify talks in the coming days, hoping to finalize the deal before their US tour.
