Wa All Stars and Ebusua Dwarfs have had their home venues for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League rejected by the Club Licensing Board ahead of the start of the season this weekend.

The board claims the Madina Zongo Park and Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast are not fit to host matches in the top-flight.

They have been asked to provided alternative venues for their Premier League matches.

Wa All Stars have new owners and the club have relocated to Madina, Accra and Dwarfs have abandoned the Cape Coast Stadium and reverted to their old ground.

A statement read: ”The mandatory basis for the rejection have been discussed with clubs. The deadline for clubs to propose alternative venues has been discussed with clubs.

”The Competitions Department shall select an approved venue for the clubs to honour their home matches should the clubs fail to meet the deadline.”
