Speaking to the press at the airport, the Board Chairman of Special Olympics Ghana ACP (rtd) Augustine Kokukorkor described the whole events as a success.

‘The whole event was a success because it is an improvement over our last appearance in the Los Angeles where we had silver without gold. We could have done far better than this if we’ve had enough financial support for early camping and preparations’.
