The senior national team, the Black Stars, arrived in Accra in the early hours of Thursday, after suffering elimination from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

The Stars lost 5-4 on penalties in the round of 16 match against Tunisia, after regulation time ended one all.

The team left Cairo in the late hours of Wednesday and touched down on Thursday morning in Accra.

The team is expected to go on break until further information with regards to their future as the draw for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon would be held on Thursday, July 18.

Some of the players are expected to travel to Europe for club assignments, whilst the rest would remain in Ghana for other commitments.
