The Development Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Tenuvi I, has pledged financial and material support to the finalists of the 2025/2026 Volta Middle League.
The support package was announced during a meeting with the Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, Daniel Agbogah, and members of the Association’s Executive Council.
The Development Chief and philanthropist said the eventual champions of the competition will receive a cash prize of GHS10,000, while the runners-up will be awarded GHS5,000.
In addition, both finalist clubs will receive a set of jerseys and two footballs each.
The gesture is intended to motivate the competing teams and enhance the quality of competition at the climax of the Volta Regional Division Two League season.

Mr. Agbogah described the intervention as a timely boost for grassroots football development in the region, noting that such support helps ease the financial burden on clubs while promoting higher standards of competition.
Torgbui Tenuvi I said his commitment is motivated by a desire to support the development of young footballers and create opportunities for talented players to progress in their careers.
He also called for improved sporting infrastructure across the Volta Region and pledged to support initiatives aimed at providing facilities that would enhance talent identification and development.
The support forms part of growing efforts by stakeholders to strengthen football development in the region.
The VRFA Chairman one-half of his Executive Council, and the football fraternity expressed appreciation for the gesture and indicated that the rewards would be presented to the finalists during the Volta Middle League final at the Ho Sports Stadium on Sunday 31 May 2026.
The winner of the Volta Middle League will secure promotion to the National Division One League.
