Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia will TODAY launch the National Digital Payment Platform dubbed Ghana.

GOV to enhance government’s Digitization Agenda. The platform, www.ghana.gov.gh, will serve as a single interface to enable the public to access government services electronically from the Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

Giving details, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said the platform will also improve service delivery and revenue mobilization.

It will in addition reduce government’s expenditure because there will be no need to construct physical infrastructure to collect government revenues since the digital platform will serve that purpose.

Additionally, it will reduce human interface in accessing government services, and help minimize bribery and corruption, with the ultimate goal of enhancing transparency and accountability.
