A Powerful Storm Hurricane Michael, is set to make landfall in Florida later today forcing mass evacuations in the southern US state.
Meteorologists have warned that the category three storm with winds near 201 kilometres per hour, is expected to strengthen further when it hits the Florida Panhandle in the north-west.
More than 370 thousand people have been ordered to evacuate in Florida.
Alabama,Florida and Georgia have declared state of emergency.
At least 13 people have reportedly died in Central America due to the storm.
