New data has revealed Pornhub’s countries by traffic over the past year, with Egypt moving up seven places to 18th position to join the top 20 countries for the first time.
Insights from the data show that “Egyptian sex” and “Arabic sex” became the northeastern African country’s top two searches.
“Egypt joined our Top 20 countries for the first time in 2022 as searches for “Egyptian sex” and “Arabic sex” both grew in popularity to become the country’s top two searches. “Massage” searches grew +4 in rank as did “curvy” by +41 and “anal” by +19. Trending searches for the year included a 498% increase for “hot sex”, and a 455% increase in “romantic sex” searches. Visitors from Egypt are 890% more likely to view Arab videos, 174% more into Feet and 166% more into Romantic videos when compared to the rest of the world.”
According to the data, “the Top 20 country with the longest visit time is Egypt at 11 minutes 12 seconds. The quickest was Mexico at 8 minutes 45 seconds, a decrease of -31 seconds compared to 2021.”
Age Demographics
The stats also show nearly 65% of Egypt’s visitors are Millennials between 18-34.
“Pornhub’s average visitor age remained 37 for 2022, with the 18 to 24 group growing by +2 percentage points, and the 35 to 44 age group dropping by –2% percentage points.
Egypt is new to our Top 20 countries this year, and nearly 65% of its visitors are Millennials between 18-34. The Philippines and Brazil both have a similar proportion of Millennial visitors, while Canada and the United States have a slightly larger proportion of visitors over the age of 35. In Spain, 71% of visitors are over 35, with 45-54 being the country’s largest age group.”
Worldwide
Data for the past year shows the UK is now the second country with the highest daily traffic to the adult platform, while the US remains number one.
The United States continues to be the country with the highest daily traffic to the adult platform, followed by the United Kingdom.
France, Mexico, and Germany moved up one place ahead of Japan, Italy, and Canada, respectively.
Ukraine and Australia fell two places to 15th and 14th, respectively, in the latest ranking released on Thursday, December 8, 2022, while Belgium returned to the top 20 for the first time since 2017.
Position
After scissoring, “amazon” became the most searched-for position in 2022, followed by “69”, “missionary”, “lotus”, “spooning”, “helicopter” and “cowgirl”.
