A man has been arrested after allegedly trespassing at the Los Angeles home of Chris Brown and attempting to start a fire on the property.
According to reports by TMZ, police were called to Brown’s residence in Tarzana, an upscale neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley, shortly before 7:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
Law enforcement sources said the suspect was first seen near the front gate trying to gain access to the property. The caller reportedly told police that the man was known to them and had caused previous problems.
The suspect allegedly jumped over the fence and entered the property, where he is accused of trying to start a fire.
Police said someone at the residence confronted the man before officers arrived and took him into custody.
He was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, and a police report was filed.
Brown was reportedly at home at the time of the incident, but there were no reports that he was harmed.
The incident comes just weeks after another reported disturbance at the singer’s home involving a security guard and a woman during a dispute outside the property.
Chris Brown has not publicly commented on the latest incident.
