The Ghanaian Times urges BECE candidates to study hard even as they begin their Examinations on Monday, September 14. To the Paper, students can pass their examinations without cheating. The Times entreats candidates to endeavor to burn the midnight candle and be guided by the rules of the examination so as not to fall on the wrong side of the law. The Paper wishes all candidates success in their papers.

The Daily Graphic entreats the media to be guided by professionalism in the discharge of their duties. It says the greatest challenge the media faces as a society and industry are the pressure to rush to publish without fact-checking and the tendency to offer opinion as fact. There is also the phenomenon of fake news that is undermining the very ethics of journalism. The Graphic says the industry must not sacrifice the search for facts and accuracy for the rush to be first with what often turns out to be unsubstantiated rumor and falsehood. The Paper prays the public to keep faith with the media especially those who value truth and accuracy.
