The Daily Graphic supports the call by President Akufo Addo to leaders of the Konkonba and Chokosis clans in the Northern region, to soften their stance and settle the recurring disputes between them, to accelerate development. The paper also reminds stakeholders not to lose sight of the chieftaincy dispute between the Jafouk and Jamoal clans in Bunkpurugu as well as the Nanjong one and two on one side and Kombatiak communities also in the North East Region. The Graphic calls on authorities to put conflict resolution measures in place to deal with these disputes in order to protect lif and property.

The Ghanaian Times commends initiatives and studies being worked on to reduce air pollution, in the wake of a report from the EPA which stated that air pollution acccounts for more than 20 thousand deaths annually. According to the paper, these initiatives are being undertaken on vehicles emission strategies and standards and the elemination of led from gasoline among others. The Times entreats Ghanaians to be mindful of activities that contribute to air pollution and work together with the authorities to protect the environment.
