The Daily Graphic commends the Presbyterian Church for its efforts to launch a peace campaign in the run up to the December Elections. It says the two major political parties have in the past faced hard fought campaigns but their actions towards their experiences have set admirable precedents for how other close elections will be handled. The Paper however noted that emotions can again be expected to reach fever pitch and both sides will need to exercise restraint and uphold buffers that prevent these emotions from spilling over into violence. The Graphic says the initiative by the Presbyterian Church is laudable and believes that Ghana has relatively set of institutions surrounding its elections that strengthen these buffers. It stated that the 2020 General Election will be a test for resilience of its institutions and serve as a reminder that the process of democratic consolidation is a long one and that the progress cannot be taken for granted, lest previous gains be lost.

The Ghanaian Times also commends the Bank of Ghana for the steps taken in paying monies belonging to the depositors of the collapsed banks. It believes the exercise is very important for any country to experience economic growth as such growth is necessary to instill confidence in the country to attract investors and businesses. The paper says they should be up and doing in ensuring that all banks in the country are rigidly controlled in line with banking regulations as it is not expected to be unnecessarily hard on banking institutions in the country, but to ensure that licensed banks are regulated in the manner expected of them.
