The Ghanaian Times is glad that the country is gradually returning to normalcy with the easing of the Covid-19 restrictions especially with the re-opening of the airports. It is the hope of the Paper that everything will go well so that all other restrictions will be eased. The Times however urges the public to continue to adhere to the Covid-19 safety protocols and not be taken off guard.

The Daily Graphic expresses support for the setting up of a foundry which is part of government’s effort at diversifying the economy and developing other sectors such as the automobile industry. President Akufo-Addo last Monday laid the foundation stone for the construction of a computerized metal casting factory that will be used to manufacture tools, spare parts and instruments to support sectors of the economy. The Paper notes that the factory holds the potential to solve a critical need in the automobile industry even beyond Ghana and take care of the continent. The Graphic appeals to stakeholders involved in the project to work hard to ensure that the project is completed ahead of schedule to serve its purpose.
