The Daily Graphic is unhappy that despite threats of terrorism, kidnapping and strange murders in the country, Ghanaians remain complacent with their personal security. The paper said unlike other jurisdictions where people take their personal safety seriously, the same cannot be said about Ghanaians. The Graphic said its worry stems from a statement by COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, that Ghanaians are gullible to security attacks because they are predictable in all aspects of life. The paper therefore supports the advise by COP Tetteh Yohuno that citizens should refrain from discussing private issues in public and ensure that their homes are secured at all times. The Graphic urges the public to be vigilant and act in a way to counter the activities of criminals.
The Ghanaian Times commends Ghanaians and other African countries for supporting government to get the green light to lead Africa in the implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area, AfCFTA which is expected to positively impact on the lives of the people. The paper therefore urges Africa to continue to support Ghana as it prepares to execute the host country agreement for the implementation of AfCFTA.
