The Daily Graphic says the call by Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu at the 2020 Millennium Excellence Awards for the Executive and the Legislature to work together and not put at risk, the peace of the country, is very timely considering how polarized the society has become. The paper says the country has a long way to go with respect to development, thus government cannot allow partisanship to draw her back. The Graphic therefore believes President Akufo Addo and Speaker Alban Bagbin can and should provide Ghanaians new leadership where the legislature holds the executive to account without being obstructive to the its mandate of executing the national development agenda. It says such an approach will go a long way to help Ghana do away with the mistakes of the past and improve not only the governance of the country but also the livelihoods of the people. Doing this, the paper says, will make Ghanaians appreciate the importance of the democracy vouch for it anytime, anywhere.

The Ghanaian Times appeals to the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey and the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta to ensure that the Pokuase Interchange is free from encroachment and activities that cause distractions and hamper the free flow of traffic or cause accidents. It says no trader must be allowed there because if they are given the opportunity, they would create filth and destroy the beauty of the place. The paper says the Regional Minister with the support of President Akufo Addo has shown the way with the example of the relocation of traders and others from Agbogbloshie to Adjen Kotoku that when it comes to national interest, emotions are secondary. It therefore expects the Roads and Highways and the Greater Accra Regional Minister to be tougher in ensuring the expected sanity around the Pokuase Interchange.
