Excitement is building ahead of the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) following the official unveiling of a strong line-up of performers set to headline the event. Organised by Charterhouse Productions, this year’s edition is expected to deliver one of the most electrifying celebrations of Ghanaian music in recent times.
Leading the line-up are some of Ghana’s most influential hitmakers and crowd favourites. Black Sherif is set to bring his emotionally charged storytelling and global appeal to the stage, while Kofi Kinaata is expected to deliver his signature lyrical depth and strong stage presence.
Samini will also command attention with his energetic dancehall performance style, as Lasmid adds his youthful vibe and infectious hits to the bill. Legendary duo R2Bees will represent Ghana’s Afrobeats excellence with their timeless catalogue, while Wendy Shay is expected to thrill fans with her chart-topping anthems and commanding stage presence.
The gospel segment promises moments of inspiration and powerful worship, with Diana Hamilton and Piesie Esther both billed to deliver uplifting performances that are expected to resonate deeply with audiences.
Also joining the line-up is Fido, the fast-rising act behind the viral hit “Joy Is Coming”, whose music continues to inspire many with its motivational message. Rapper Medikal is also set to deliver a high-energy performance, adding further excitement to the night.
Scheduled for May 9, 2026, at the Palms Convention Centre inside La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, TGMA 2026 will celebrate excellence in Ghanaian music while showcasing its diversity and global influence.
