Renowned Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annan has advised the youth against copying the lifestyles of others, joking that one could even end up selling their house if care is not taken.
“…someone can make you sell your house if you’re not careful,” he said.
Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show on September 10, 2025, about a new movie he featured in titled ‘Clout’, Annan said he believed the film would evoke many questions among the youth and encourage them to be content with what they have.
“When I first read the script, I felt it hit close to home because it would serve as an eye-opener for those who are gullible,” he explained.
According to him, some people have been left broken because they tried to follow other people’s lifestyles. He noted that the movie would help viewers be more discerning by not taking everything “hook, line, and sinker.”
He added that many people live lives that are not a true reflection of reality, and Clout would serve as a reminder to remain authentic.
The movie is set to premiere on September 13, 2025, at the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall.
