Since 2017, the biggest music platform that has hosted both Ghanaians and Diasporans whilst showcased Ghanaian culture and music to the globe, headlining most activities in December, Afrochella, is here again.
Afrochella, as a music festive, has grown over the years to become an avenue to celebrate Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives and entrepreneurs, arts and taste of premium African cuisines.
This year’s star-studded event is scheduled to be a two-day affair, packed with loads of activities and performance at the El-wak Sport Stadium in Accra on Wednesday December 28 and Thursday December 29 2022.
Artists lined up for Day include Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, King Promise, Gyakie, Medikal, Kwasi Arthur, Kofi Kinaata, Kumani Eugene, Elaine Tobi.
Day two of the event is set for throwback Ghanaian music from Artists including Mzbel, Praye, Tinny, Kwaw Kese, Tic Tac, Shatta Wale, Kidi along with other musical acts.
The musical and cultural sensation, although has experienced rough parches in its quest to become a successful festival, it has striven to keep it head over waters to project Africa to the globe through music beyond the return and hopes to stay.
