Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy has become the first African Artiste to win the BET Best International Act Award four times. 

He won the award in 2019, 2020, 2021 and, just last night, June 25, 2023, he bagged his fourth.

Despite his absence from the event, the African giant outshined a talented pool of contenders, including Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy, to secure the coveted Best International Act title once again. 

This remarkable achievement underscores Burna Boy’s unrivaled dominance in the international music scene.

Nigerian artistes have maintained a stronghold on the “Best International Act” category at the BET Awards since its establishment in 2018, with Davido being the first to win.

Building on this trend, emerging Nigerian music sensation Tems claimed the title of “Best International Act” last year.
