Day two of Lifestyle TV’s “TrekGh: The Western Experience” took participants on another fun and educational journey through the cultural and natural attractions of Ghana’s Western Region, as part of efforts to promote domestic tourism.
The day’s activities included visits to Fort Apolonia, a historic fort in Beyin, and the famous Nzulezu stilt village, where culture, nature, and tradition come together. These tours gave participants a special chance to learn about Ghana’s rich history and experience the lifestyle of local communities.

But the trip wasn’t only about learning history. Organizers added fun and relaxing moments to make the experience more enjoyable. After the tours, participants headed to Maaha Beach Resort for a lively pool party, where they enjoyed good music, the sea breeze, and time to unwind.
The day ended with a delicious dinner buffet, where everyone gathered to eat, enjoy music, and share their highlights of the trip.
“It makes me want to do more. This trip was very interesting,” one visitor commented.

“The stilt village was very empowering. It’s amazing that this culture has been maintained for hundreds of years,” said another visitor.
Tomorrow, 22 June, marks the final day of the three-day tour. The group will visit the Bisa Aberwa Museum in Sekondi-Takoradi and wrap up the journey with fun outdoor activities, including horse riding.
Lifestyle TV’s “TrekGh: The Western Experience” continues to promote the beautiful and fascinating places across Ghana, encouraging more Ghanaians to explore and appreciate what the country has to offer.
