Government highlights cultural significance of James Town, Ngleshie Alata

The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Barbara Oteng Gyasi, has highlighted the historical and cultural significance of James Town, Ngleshie Alata in Accra saying it has the potential of becoming a major tourism hub in Ghana if the people put behind them all distractions to propel development there.

This is contained in a message read for her at a durbar to unveil a new chief and Elders of the Trom dynasty at James Town in Accra.

Trom is one of the three ruling houses of James Town, Ngleshie Alata.
