Thousands of music fans thronged the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, December 19, as GTBank Ghana hosted the second edition of the GTCO Music Concert.
The free event, widely described as one of Ghana’s biggest music experiences of 2025, featured a star-studded lineup from Ghana and Nigeria and attracted an estimated crowd of over 30,000 people.
Although billed to start at 7:00 pm, performances stretched late into the night, with headline acts taking the stage in the early hours of the morning.
Nigerian singer Patoranking opened the main performances, followed by artists including King Promise, Joeboy, Fireboy DML and Ayra Starr. Ghanaian rap duo R2Bees also made an appearance, setting the stage for the night’s final acts.

Sarkodie delivered a high-energy set before Nigerian superstar Burna Boy thrilled the crowd with his hit songs.
One of the most talked-about moments of the night came when a fan ran onto the stage and handed Burna Boy cash, a gesture the artiste acknowledged warmly.
Shatta Wale later closed the concert, drawing loud reactions from fans who had waited through the long night for his performance.
Despite some challenges, including sound issues during a few sets and moments of crowd restlessness, the concert was largely seen as a major success.
With tight security, a lively atmosphere and a diverse mix of performances, the GTCO Music Concert 2025 reinforced its reputation as one of the country’s leading large-scale music events.
