The 2017 hit movie ‘Girls Trip’ is set to finally return with part two, and the full cast is coming to Ghana to film the movie.

According to renowned American film writer Tracy Oliver, “Girls’ Trip 2” is set to return with the full cast coming to Ghana, where a majority of the scenes would be filmed.

Harlem creator Tracy Oliver made the disclosure in a recent interview on Variety Studio; she said that even though it was meant to be a secret, she could not hide her excitement as she dropped hints on the show.

The award-winning filmmaker stated that the original Girls Trip cast, which starred popular black American movie stars Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah and Tiffany Haddish will reunite again in Ghana for the much-anticipated sequel of the movie.

The first “Girls Trip” was a significant box office hit, grossing $140 million worldwide on a modest $16 million budget. Malcolm D. Lee directed the project, produced by Packer and co-written by Olvier and Kenya Barris from a story they conceived with Erica Rivinoja. It also launched the recently-embattled Haddish into superstardom.
