Netizens have dragged Nigerian singer Iyanya into the mud when he committed himself to react in a Twitter post to the abortion allegation levelled against the “Popular Tema Rapper”, Sarkodie, in Yvonne Nelson’s memoir.

“Isn’t this too much information? Is this also in the book?” Iyanya innocently asked in a tweet.

In chapter ten of “I am Not Yvonne Nelson”, dedicated to Iyanya, the famous actress revealed that the popular Nigerian singer cheated on her with Tontoh Dikeh.

“We had a decent relationship—breakfast in bed and all the niceties of a dream relationship one could think of. I had the assurance that he was someone I could be with forever. He tattooed my initials, YN, on his wrist, and I thought that was a big deal. If he wasn’t serious about me, he wouldn’t do that. In his hit song, “Ur waist”, he mentioned how he lusted over me. One can therefore imagine my shock when I returned to Ghana after one of my visits to Nigeria, someone called me from his house.”

“The caller said anytime I left Iyanya’s place, another actress came over to him and sometimes slept over. The person felt strongly that there was something going on between them and that I should know. That actress turned out to be Tontoh Dikeh of Nigeria, one of the female celebrities Iyanya named in his Ur waist song. When I was convinced about the authenticity of the information I received, I was heartbroken. I took to Twitter to rant and vent. Tontoh Dikeh responded on Twitter, saying people change and so do feelings, so I could move on,” Yvonne Nelson detailed in her book.

The ‘Kukere’ hitmaker has since been on a tweeting spree to address the accusations.
“What’s the name of the person who called her from my house? After that question, we will answer if her accusations are true or false and what really transpired. Love and trust,” Iyanya said in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Nigerians are of the view that Yvonne Nelson must have cursed Iyanya, resulting in his hit song drought.
