Afropop star King Promise has teamed up with Banku music pioneer Mr Eazi to released a new single titled Mariana, offering fans another preview of their forthcoming joint album, See What We’ve Done.
The track, now available on major streaming platforms, blends melodic Afropop elements with laid-back rhythms, reflecting the duo’s signature styles and long-standing musical chemistry.
Mariana follows earlier releases from the project, including That Way and the title track See What We’ve Done, as the two artistes gradually build momentum toward the full album release.

Both artistes have established themselves as influential figures in African music. King Promise, known for hits such as Paris, CCTV and Terminator, has built a reputation for his smooth vocals and global appeal, earning recognition across Africa and beyond.
Mr Eazi, a pioneer of the Banku music sound, gained international acclaim with songs like Skin Tight, Leg Over and has also played a key role in bridging African music with global markets through collaborations and business ventures.
Their working relationship dates back several years, with the pair collaborating on multiple occasions and maintaining a close professional bond. Over time, their shared musical direction and mutual respect have evolved into a full-length joint project, signalling a deeper creative partnership.
The upcoming album, See What We’ve Done, is expected to showcase their combined artistry, drawing on their individual strengths while exploring new sonic directions. Industry observers say the collaboration reflects a broader trend of cross-border partnerships within Africa’s music scene.
With Mariana, King Promise and Mr Eazi continue to build anticipation for the project, positioning the album as one of the notable joint releases to watch in the Afropop space.
