The speculation about Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s so-called ‘chemistry’ isn’t sizzling down, with the pair now compared to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – who are said to have fallen in love on set.

Bradley, 44, and Gaga, 32, shared a special moment at the Oscars 2019 on Sunday when they performed Shallow from their critically-acclaimed musical drama A Star Is Born.

Their longing gazes and sweet smiles at each other sparked speculation about their affection for one another, despite the fact Bradley is in a happy and committed relationship with model Irina Shayk.

Now their Star Is Born co-star, Luenell, has added fuel to the chemistry talk by comparing the actors to Brangelina.

Speaking to Us Weekly about the much debated performance, Luenell said: ‘I’m just saying — it happened with Brad and Angelina. I don’t see how you do not fall in love with your co-star.’

Brad, 55, and Angelina, 43, famously starred in 2005’s Mr & Mrs Smith together and his marriage to Jennifer Aniston ended shortly after, prompting speculation that they had got close and fallen for each other on-set, despite their insistence their romance blossomed afterwards.

However, comedian Luenell doesn’t think anything actually romantic will happen between Gaga and Bradley, adding: ‘[Lady Gaga] don’t play that, but I’m just saying they got mad chemistry. That’s what I think makes it… because I believe in the moment [they were filming] that it was real.’

Bradley’s ex-wife, Jennifer Esposito, also contributed to the speculation when she reacted to the intense Oscars performance.

Jennifer had commented ‘ha’ in response to an Instagram post from actor David Spade, which said: ‘Is there any chance these 2 aren’t fucking?’
