The Resurrection Methodist Church, Adenta Society, is thirty (30) years since its establishment.
The society, as part of its anniversary celebration, has outlined a number of activities and programs to mark 30 years of propagating the gospel to many, thereby saving lives.
One of the activities was rejuvenating the annual musical concert dubbed ‘Shout for Joy’.
The concert, which took place at the Church premises in Adenta on Saturday, November 11, was held in collaboration with the powerful singing group Resurrection Power Voices. Min. Kofi Preprah and the evergreen Celestine Donkoh were the guest artists for the night.
In an interview with the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Rev. Dr. Kwaku Boamah, he narrated that the musical concert, which has been an annual program of the church, was put on hold in 2019 because of the global pandemic, COVID-19, which affected every aspect of life.
He said the church is elated to witness this anniversary celebration considering the history of its establishment and what they have been able to achieve within the period.

He indicated that the celebration will span to March 2024 with a variety of activities that satisfy every age and gender in the church.
He extended the invitation to members of the community to get involved in all the activities earmarked for the celebration.
For her part, President of Resurrection Power Voices, Ms. Ernestina Amponsah, said ‘Shout for Joy’ and the activities for the celebration are life-transforming, amazing, and wonderful. She said people who attend any of the programs will be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience miracles as well.

She urged members of the community to look up to Jesus in all situations and not lose hope.
Some participants at the program expressed their joy and the impact the concert has had on their lives, encouraging others to take part in such programs whenever there is an opportunity.
