Mr. Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour has failed in his bid to win the Asante Akyem South constituency seat in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries held on Saturday, June 20.
He lost to the incumbent Member of Parliament, Kwaku Asante Boateng who polled 360 as against 296 by Obour.
Other aspirants were Eric Amofa, Edmond Oppong Peprah and William Yamoah.
Obour was the Former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and last year he revealed his intentions to run for Parliament.
