2019 budget will offer relief to Ghanaians – President Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo says next year’s budget will give more hope to Ghanaians. He said government has succeeded in cleaning the economic mess it inherited, adding that the economic indicators inherited have been turned around and are pointing in the right direction.

President Akufo-Addo stated this when he swore in four Ministers and two deputies at a brief ceremony at the Jubilee House in Accra.

The Ministers are Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Brong Ahafo , Evans Opoku Bobie, Upper East, Paulina Abayage and Gender and Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison.

The Deputy Ministers are Eastern, Samuel Nuetey Ayertey and Brong Ahafo, Martin Oti Gyarko.

Their appointment follows President Akufo- Addo’s first Ministerial reshuffle some months ago. They were later approved by Parliament following a successful vetting.

President Akufo-Addo charged them to cooperate with each other to deliver on the mandate given to the government. He advised them to be focused and work diligently to develop Ghana.

On behalf of his Colleages, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah thanked the President for the confidence reposed in them.
