The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and a Flagbearer Aspirant of the NDC, Alban Bagbin, has filed his nomination form at the party headquarters with a pledge to restore the rank and file of the party by empowering branch and constituency members to ensure victory in 2020.
The second candidate to file was Prof. Joshua Alabi who promised to empower the youth at the tertiary level, as well as the rank and file of the party to win back the confidence of members who neglected the party in 2016.
The Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, assured them of transparency of the process.
He warned that the party will crackdown on those who engage in irresponsible conduct on social media.
