Cape Coast: Roads to be closed to ease US First Lady Melania's passage

The Central Regional Police has announced the temporary closure of certain roads within the Cape Coast Metropolis ahead of the visit to the Cape Coast Castle by US First Lady Melania Trump today.

A statement by the Police said the following roads will be closed to traffic at 7am Today and re-opened immediately after her visit to the Castle.

Roads include the UCC West Gate Road through Ola beach to the Cape Coast Town Hall-Bakaano, Abease to Cape Coast Town Hall-Bakaano, and from Metro Mass station to Bakaano roundabout.

The statement advises motorists and road users to comply with the directives. However, Police officers will be at vantage points to manage traffic.
