The 2019 African Climate Chance Summit is underway in Accra.
It is being organised for non-state actors and is aimed at getting comprehensive inputs from stakeholders who are not part of the mainstream State Climate Change Negotiators and Advocates.
Co-ordinator of Oil Watch Ghana and steering Committee member of Oil Watch Africa, Noble Wadjah noted that the alarming use of fossil fuel and investment expansion across the globe is an indication that the world is not serious about addressing the climate change crisis.
Mr Wadjah advised participants at the summit to come out with a tangible roadmap towards the use of renewable energy as a measure to addressing the climate change crises.
