A gory accident occurred last night at Mataheko on the Michel Camp-Afienya road with one man suspected to be a military officer dead and many injured.
Eyewitnesses say the accident involved a tipper truck loaded with sand, a saloon car and a minibus.
According to Eyewitnesses, the tipper truck caused the accident after it hit the saloon car with registration number GN 3741-11 and then collided head-on with the mini bus heading from Michel Camp towards Afienya.
All the injured were on the minibus. Some of them were trapped in the mangled vehicle.
