The public should also follow strictly the precaution protocols put out by the Ghana Health Service to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
The Regional Director of Health, Dr. Emmanuel Tenkorang who made the call at a Media briefing said as Ghana has begun recording increase in COVID-19 cases and there is a steady rise of the pandemic globally, there is the need for the Media to intensify risk communication to prevent its further spread.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Dr. Oheneba Danso advised the media to desist from frequent calls to access information on people infected with the disease from the hospital, saying, it is unethical for the hospital authority to give out such confidential information to the public.
