Assemblies of God leaders meet in Takoradi

The Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana has ended a four- day meeting in Takoradi. The meeting , which was chaired by the General Superintendent Rev Stephen Wengam, was also attended by  the wives of the Executive Presbytery who serve as the National Executive Committee of the Ministers Wives Association(MWA).

The President of the Association is Lady Mrs Monica Wengam, wife of the General Superintendent. After each day’s prayer session  lasting between three and five hours,  the National Executive Committee of the Ministers Wives Association met separately to deliberate on matters affecting the association.

The Executive Presbytery received reports from the regions, departments and agencies.

High on the agenda was the World Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship scheduled to take place in Accra in October, 2026. The leaders also discussed church growth and the spiritual development of the church.

Rev. Wengam admonished the rank and file of Assemblies of God, Ghana to pursue with dedication and diligence,  the church’s theme for 2025: “Pray Without Ceasing For Supernatural Manifestations.”

He added that God’s ability to achieve greater works in the church depends on their commitment to prayer.
