'Don’t panic’: Authorities urge after tonnes of tilapia die en masse

A Director of Fisheries at the Fisheries And Aqua-Culture Ministry,  Arthur Dadzie, has confirmed as true  report of some contaminated Tilapia at Asutuare in the Eastern Region.
He said the Health Directorate Unit of the Ministry has been dispatched to the area to carry out investigations.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Dadzie said samples of the fish and water have been sent to the Standard Authority for testing.
He asked the public not to panic since the situation is under control.
