EPA head office to be closed for disinfection today

The Head Office of the Environmental Protection Agency will be closed to staff and the public today to allow the offices to be disinfected. The office would be re-opened on Thursday.

A statement issued by its Executive Director, Dr Henry Kokofu, has requested all Heads of Departments and Units to ensure that staff work from home during this period.

The statement said Executive Management is making necessary arrangements with accredited laboratories and Clinics for all staff to be tested for Covid 19.

In this regard Heads of Regions and Area Offices across the country are required to make arrangements for their staff to be tested and also disinfect the offices.

All EPA Offices across the country are entreated to operationalize their COVID-19 Committees to ensure strict compliance with these additional directives.
